Canadian folk icon Valdy is celebrating his 80th year in 2026 with a busy schedule of performances across the country.
For decades, Valdy has been one of Canada’s most cherished singer-songwriters, known for his warm stage presence, memorable songs, and easy connection with audiences. His concerts continue to feel personal, welcoming, and unmistakably Canadian, blending stories, humour, and timeless music into an evening that resonates with longtime fans and new listeners alike.
As he enters this milestone year, Valdy continues to do what he has always done best: travel from community to community, sharing songs that have become part of Canada’s folk music fabric. His 2026 performances will bring him to theatres, festivals, folk clubs, and concert series across the country.
